CHANGES FOR THE REFERRED VISAS

With effect from April 28, 2007, the following Countries have been removed from the Referred Visa Requirements. However they will be required to apply for the Visa like any other Nationals who are subjected to the Visa compliance whenever traveling to Tanzania:

1. BENIN
2. BURKINA FASO
3. CAMEROUN
4. COTE D’IVOIRE
5. GABON
6. GUINEA
7. GUINEA BISSAU
8. TOGO
9.WESTERN SAHARA

Since Tanzania has Visa abolition agreement with GHANA and GAMBIA nationals from these Countries can travel to Tanzania without Visa. However, they will be required to comply with Immigration procedure at the point of entry.
